By road Parakai is in West Auckland, 37 minutes from the Auckland CBD, 17 minutes past Kumeu. Or 30 minutes from Albany by Dairy Flat, and 24 minutes from Silverdale, initially following the directions to Helensville. Parakai Village is near Helensville, go through Parakai village and turn right after 600m into Green Rd. The airfield is well signposted. Road Map of area. Google earth map and satellite view.

By air refer to the NZAIP. Runway 07 / 25 is 830m x 8m, of which 750m is sealed, with an 80m hard grass extension to the east. All circuits to the north. Radio 119.1 mhz. Available for general use.  Landing and overnight parking fees apply. Approach Instructions.
