By road from the south, West Auckland Airport is 33 minutes from the Auckland CBD, 17 minutes past Kumeu. Follow the signs towards Helensville turning off before Helensville at the large 'Parakai Airport' signs. Turn right 600m after passing through Parakai Village. The airport is well signposted.

From the East and North: 30 minutes from Albany by Dairy Flat, or 24 minutes from Silverdale. Go through Helensville and follow the 'Airport' signs to Parakai and turn right 600m after Parakai Village. The airport is well signposted. Road Map of area. Google earth map and satellite view.

By air refer to the NZAIP. 'Parakai A/D' 'NZPI'. Runway 07 / 25 is 860m x 8m, of which 740m is sealed, with a 120m hard grass extension to the east. All circuits to the north. Radio 119.1 mhz.
